  1. If you are interested in making an emergency startup disk, here's something useful.
  2. This small util munges the attributes on a copy of ShortFinder so that you can use it as a Finder for a boot disk.
  3. Specifically, it changes the name to Finder, the Creator to MACS and the Type to FNDR.
